Tuesday, May 10, 2005 ... almost Now under manpower branch, cos i was "arrowed" to be the one posted to Thailand for a year. But after considering for 10 hrs+, I decided to reject it, and so i sms my Sir when i reached home... thought it'll take a long time b4 i convince him... but suprisingly, he reply with a "ok loh"... ROX!!! He's the best!!
Too many things I can't bear to leave behind, esp. my friends... can't imagine being not able to see them for at least 6 months... But guess i'll be posted elsewhere tml loh, since i dunone to go Thailand, i shd not stay in manpower branch anymore.

Sunday, April 24, 2005 Gathering at hollnd village... Juz a quick update...Had a mini class gathering at Holland village's crystal jade restuarant... then went for a chat at coffee Bean... all the talks abt army life again =). Even though this time round there's only 7 person (melisa, seokfun, karine,sk, jh, zj and me), it's still an improvement compared to 6 last time.. HeihEi
Too bad the sispec guys can't join us, cos they bk out every late on Saturday... Zixu had to help out at his sis's BBQ, though he got a rotten finger and get himself Att C (same as MC) till 7th of MAy... lucky guy. Nic can't make it too... too bad, otherwise i'm sure it'll even be more fun ^_^... wb has to bk on Sat nite too... too bad.. hai~ But still, It's gd to keep in contact
Not too sure when there'll be a next class gathering, cos those in BMTC, sispec and OCS all quite busy... but no fear... one of these days.... i'm sure there'll be more than 10 ppl turn up... looking forward to tat day :)

Monday, March 21, 2005 Zero Three Ass Oh Eight Wao kao... wat a funastic day.... reached boon lat mrt at 7am to wait for the 7:20am shuttle bus to sungei Gedong camp...only to find out at 7:25am that somehow, the whole bunch of us waiting there missed the bus. Nevermind... managed to get a hitch from my friend... but when we got there, have to wait for another 40 mins before someone came to us... Then some of the BX guys found out that there's no course available for them... and off they go to kranji camp to report to their unit.
Best to come, they first tell us that we can stay out since there's not much stuff to do these few days, and the actual course will start on thurs. Then everyone was so delighted when we was informed that we may actually be able to extend our leave till thurs. But all hope was dashed in the aft when we were told that we have to stay in... So we spend 3 long hours cleaning up a damn lousy bunk, and juz when everything looks fit enough for human beings to stay in, guess wat, pack our stuff and go. 3 hours of area cleaning for nth. "'-_-
After dinner, we were allowed to book out and stay home for the night again. Reason? Cos there was not enough bunk to accomodate us! haha....

Thursday, March 10, 2005 hullo hullo! One more day before i step on the lands of Tekong! Feeling pretty excited now as i type this and pack my barang barang :) Hmm..actually nothing much to say, just hope that we can all continue to stay in touch! Also, all the best in choosing and getting into the faculty/programme we desire! For me, i'm planning to major in chem ( as alot of u know) and minor in life sciences before proceeding to specialise in medicinal chemistry defined as the "science that deals with the discovery and design of new therapeutic chemicals and their development into useful medicines." (Silverman, 1992) haha...i love that definition because i dont have to wash test-tubes..haha...As usual, i have a back-up plan if i dont get what i want and that is to teach! haha..hopefully everything goes well and all of us get to do what we really want! minnasan Gambatte ne! (trans: Everybody jiayou!)

Apparently there are some errors in viewing the blog if you are using screen resolutions of 800X600 and below. The tagboard becomes superimposed onto the text, and not all the pictures can be seen. The site is optimized for 1024X768. I'll see what i can do to remedy the problem....

Following ly's departure, we went for an early breakfast at bk..Was quite entertained listening to jianhong tell us bout his 2 insane tortoises....hahahaha we then met weeboon and watched howl's moving castle at lido..quite a nice animation rite???
At bout 4, we all decided to go home and tt's when the spastic zixu suggested mi and him go to eunike's house..haha was quite fun lar..we talked quite alot and even discussed the possibilities of going on a cruise~!~! Well, the discussion of the cruise is still in the preliminery stages and we hope to discuss wif u guys so tt we can go together as a group..Juz nice also, our ns guys haf passed out!! so juz leave ur suggestions and we'll update u guys kk? haha
